Take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in the mindful art of hand-building ceramics. Over the six-week course, you’ll learn foundational techniques like slab-building and pinching clay. These skills will enable you to create a variety of functional and beautiful pieces, including mugs, vases, planters, trays, bowls, and dishes.
Whether you're new to ceramics or looking to refine your skills, this hands-on class will guide you step-by-step through the process of crafting your own pieces from clay. With plenty of time for experimentation and embellishment, you'll receive individualized instruction to bring your ideas to life in a relaxed and supportive environment.
The class includes two glazing sessions where you’ll have another opportunity to add your personal touch.
Expect to create a minimum of 4 to 6 finished items, with many participants crafting even more.
